Belt Sizing

How to Determine Your Belt Size

Getting the right belt size is key to ensuring a proper fit and long-lasting comfort. Here’s how to find your ideal size:

Method 1: Measure an Existing Belt (Most Accurate)

  1. Lay your current belt flat on a table or floor.

  2. Measure from the hole you use most often (the one with the most wear) to the point where the leather folds around the buckle—not to the end of the buckle.  The belt buckle should not be included in the measurement at all.

  3. The length in inches is your belt size.

Example: If this measurement is 36 inches, you should order a size 36 belt.

Method 2: Use Your Pants Size + 2 Inches

If you don’t have a belt to measure, use your waist size as a guide:

  • Take your current pants size and add 2 inches.

  • This number is your belt size.

Example: If you wear size 34 pants, you should order a size 36 belt.

Note: Belt sizing is not the same as the total belt length. Belts are sized to fit from the buckle fold to the center hole, giving you room to tighten or loosen as needed.

Fit Tip:

Our belts are designed to fit true to size, with five holes spaced 1" apart. Your selected size should ideally place the buckle tongue in the middle hole, allowing flexibility in either direction.
