Give a favorite buckle new life with a rugged replacement strap made from one solid piece of full grain buffalo leather. I handcraft each strap in my Colorado Springs workshop using durable oil-tanned leather with a distinctive Crazy Horse pull-up finish.

Choose from Brown, Gray, Green, or Oxblood. Each color has its own character, but all four develop lighter highlights where the leather bends, flexes, and rubs. Rather than wearing out visually, the surface develops a richer and more personal appearance with use.

This listing is for the leather belt strap and matching leather keeper only. A buckle is not included. Heavy-duty snaps allow you to attach a compatible removable buckle designed for a 1.5-inch belt strap.

The buckle shown in any demonstration or sizing photographs is not included. You will receive one leather strap with its matching leather keeper and installed snap hardware.

One Solid Piece of Buffalo Leather

Each strap is cut from a single piece of full grain buffalo leather. There are no bonded-leather layers, glued-together scraps, cardboard fillers, or synthetic backing hidden inside.

The leather is approximately 8–9 ounces, or about 3.2–3.6mm thick. It provides a substantial everyday feel while remaining flexible enough to break in comfortably with wear.

A Finish That Changes with Wear

Crazy Horse leather is known for its natural pull-up effect. Oils and waxes within the leather shift when the strap is bent or rubbed, revealing lighter tones and creating a naturally distressed appearance.

Variations in grain, pull-up, shading, and natural markings are expected. No two straps will look exactly alike, and the surface will continue to develop character and patina over time.

• Brown: A deep, rugged brown with warm highlights that become more noticeable as the leather flexes.
• Gray: A distinctive charcoal-gray finish with natural variation and a worn-in casual character.
• Green: A dark, understated green that can appear deeper or lighter depending on the lighting and pull-up.
• Oxblood: A rich red-brown color with burgundy undertones and contrasting pull-up highlights.

Belt sizing is different from pants sizing. To determine the correct strap size, measure a belt that currently fits you well.

1. Lay the belt flat.
2. Begin measuring where the leather starts at the buckle fold—not from the end of the buckle.
3. Measure to the hole you use most often.
4. That measurement is the belt size you should order. If your measurement is an odd number, round up to the next even size.
